Reverse case of Boeing series aircraft nose

A customer is making aircraft simulation equipment, which is used in the internal aircraft teaching of major airlines. It needs to obtain a high-precision three-dimensional model of the Boeing series aircraft nose. Hualang engineers use our newly launched HL-W3000, which is fast and accurate. The three-dimensional data of the nose of Boeing series aircraft was obtained to meet the needs of airlines for their own new student training and retraining of old employees.

Practical problems

1. Boeing series airplanes have large noses, and the traditional measurement methods are too inefficient and accurate, which makes it difficult to design and model in reverse. Waste too much human and material resources.

2. The curvature of the outer surface of the aircraft is difficult to measure through manual comparison. The customer needs to obtain accurate data on the nose of the Boeing series aircraft and needs to use equipment with high measurement accuracy.

In order to shorten the modeling cycle and reduce the cost of aircraft nose R&D, Hualang 3D proposes a solution based on the problems faced by customers: use our new industrial-grade 3D scanner W3000 to obtain the 3D data of Boeing series aircraft noses. The three-dimensional scanner has the characteristics of extremely fast scanning speed, high precision, simple operation and strong stability. During the scanning process, the software automatically spliced the 3D data through the mark points, and quickly obtained the complete 3D data of the Boeing series aircraft nose. Customers can import the scanned 3D data into the software to fit the SLT triangle mesh surface, and import the 3D design software for reverse design. The product structure design and improvement have improved efficiency and saved costs.
