    The design result of the EMU cab will have an important impact on the EMU as a whole. Therefore, designing and manufacturing EMU cabs with smooth curved surfaces, beautiful appearance and aerodynamic requirements have become the focus of designers.

Practical problems

   The scanning requirements of the motor car cockpit are very high, with large arcs and many curved surfaces. It is difficult to use traditional measurement methods, and it is impossible to quickly and accurately obtain the three-dimensional model data of the motor car cockpit.

Holon solutions

   In response to the problems faced by customers, Hualang technical engineers proposed to use in the solution: the handheld 3D scanner HL-3DH-3M obtains the 3D data of the EMU cockpit, and the EMU researcher uses the scanned 3D data to determine the subsequent train flow field values. Calculation, model wind tunnel test, secondary design of outer plate mold and product improvement.
